NICE - Dyspepsia: management of dyspepsia in adults in primary care

Author(s)National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence
AbstractThis guideline addresses the appropriate primary care management of dyspepsia. It identifies effective and cost-effective approaches to managing the care of adult patients with dyspepsia including diagnosis, referral and pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. The guideline does not address the management of more serious underlying causes of dyspepsia (e.g. malignancies and perforated ulcers) but does describe the signs and investigations that may lead to referral for these conditions.
