AbstractLate syphilis is defined as infection with treponema pallidum of more than two years’ duration. This guideline consider the following aspects of the disease: clinical features; diagnosis; neurosyphilis; management - basic principles; drug treatment; follow-up; management of contacts; auditable outcome measures.
