Malaria

Malaria is a potentially fatal disease caused by the protozoa plasmodium. This germ is a parasite that is becoming increasingly resistant to current treatments. It is important to see your doctor, nurse or pharmacist before travelling to affected areas in order to get the most appropriate treatment.
