Do people become resistant to antibiotics?

No. People cannot become resistant to antibiotics or other antimicrobial drugs because the drug is not being used to treat our cells but is instead used to harm the germs. Antimicrobials do not target our cells, only the germs, so we cannot become resistant to them.
